Our Daily Life - Volume 48

Most of these were actually taken on Thanksgiving Day.  We hosted dinner at our house.

The Steelers played the Ravens Thanksgiving evening, so Juliana sported her jersey for the day.
Hope preferred to dress up as Superwoman instead.
Hope likes to play with her cousin Oliver.

 Oliver's heart-to-heart with Uncle Joe:
Joe's Dad, Joe.  He doesn't always wear a yellow flower in his hair.
Hope set the kid table.
Juliana didn't want to sit at the kid table, so she sat beside me instead.
 And Joe sat with Hope.

The end of the evening "You should have taken the group photo earlier...." picture:
It was a long day for Juliana:

 No words for this....
We decorated the tree the day after Thanksgiving:

Our gingerbread house - before it was complete.
We took the girls to see the movie Frozen - it was a great movie.
Hope loved getting up in the morning and finding Jingles every day leading up to Christmas.  She also enjoyed posing for photos with him.

Our Daily Life - Volume 47

Our day-to-day life:

Playing dress-up:

 Walking like crabs:
Sleeping in Hope's new princess bedroom:

If I only had a dollar for every minute Hope spends sitting here.....
Fashion Diva - Hope loves her fashion glasses.
Juliana can be pretty fashionable herself in her sweater dress and boots:
Crafts - Hope made the girl on the left and Juliana made the boy on the right.
 More dress-up:
This is where we keep our dress-up clothes, and this is what it looks like after the girls have been searching in it:
Hope is drawn to the sparkly things:
Hope was fascinated with Jingles, especially the first day he came to visit us.
And then there were four.  One of our five hermit crabs died at the end of November.  The one in the white shell on the left died soon after, so we are now down to three.

Visit with Santa

We took the girls to see Santa the weekend before Christmas.  Juliana asked for a train and a horse.  Hope asked for a baby doll, cat, Barbie stuff and earrings.

Juliana ran right up to Santa and sat on his lap like she has known him her whole life.  Hope held back - but only a little bit.

The girls picked out their own matching outfits.  I had picked out other matching dresses that they decided they didn't like.  They did like the matching part though.

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

Last week after I took some photos of the girls for our Christmas cards, I felt like I had something that I really am not used to having - choices.  The girls were awesome, and of course gorgeous as well.  I narrowed the selection down to four to use for our cards, but here are my favorite 25.
