Moving Out / Moving In

Hello internet world!  I am happy that I did not go the entire month of July without a blog post.  It has been a busy busy busy month.  We moved.  With a one year old and a three year old.  We are tired.

We moved much closer to our day-to-day world.  I now make it to work in 25 minutes.  That includes taking the girls to daycare, which accounts for about half of that time.  It is half the total time is used to be.

Our old house should be going on the market within the next day or so.  I will miss a lot about it.  Living in a neighborhood.  The neighbors.  It was our first "home."  It is where we lived when we got married and had babies.  We spent 11 years living in it.

The first half of moving day - moving out:

The second half of moving day - moving in:

No more neighborhood, but we have an awesome yard for the girls to play in.  It is pretty quiet.  We have deer that visit us most evenings and some mornings.  We have a fox that runs around from time to time.  We have blackberry bushes.  We have room for a swing set and a playhouse.  We have birds and squirrels.  We have room for a garden.  Heck we have room for a barn, I am thinking some little goats would be fun to have.  Or maybe some chickens.  And, as of this past Friday, we now have internet.  We moved closer to everything, but it ends up we are further out from things like cable TV and cable internet.  So hello to expensive satellite internet.  Hopefully it is only temporary.  DSL should be available to us at some point, and after that FiOS, but for now we are at least connected to the rest of the world.

I have lots of cell phone pics to catch up on (and hardly any from my DSLR).  Hopefully it won't take me too long to get caught up.
